Locked in a divorce for approaching two years, my hatred of lawyers is growing rapidly. I sit watching my assets slowly diminish and my debts grow while two lawyers charge their fees for what I can only call busy work. Its sad that by the time this is over, the lawyers will have the assets that should be split as a part of this process.

Every couple of weeks, the other lawyer files some document seeking yet more paperwork from me and my lawyer and I have to say I really don't know why. In the end, I do think its a policy of constantly aggravating me in the hope I finally blow a gasket and do something silly. The only other reason is to keep making fees! The funny thing is that the documents being asked for are actually in my wife's possession so I am forced to respond that I don't have the documents - they do. So why the hell ask me for something you already have?

Yep - I really don't like lawyers much.
