Have you noticed how commodity prices are going up and up and breaking new records everyday? Its not just oil prices but almost every natural resource and raw material. And you can forget what the politicians say about speculation driving up prices - thats just a knee jerk reaction and an attempt to detract attention from the real problem. Which is - too many people on planet earth chasing too few natural resources....

Think about this for a minute... it is gloomy thinking. Millions of people in India, China and other Asian and developing countries demanding access to the norms of western life - power, light, water, cars, radios, TVs, food etc. Think also that for two decades, no on wanted to invest in or work in the power industry, the oil industry or mining. Think about the staggering number of new generators that have to get built just to continue to meet demand. Think how few people there are that can actually build an electric generator or look for oil and gas...

We are entering a new era in human history. There will be wars over natural resources, there will be social unrest over spiraling prices, unemployment and deep debt. Man is now an endangered species. And don't nod your head thinking about global warming. Global warming is irrelevant when you consider how nations will fight each other for natural resources in the coming years and decades.

Think I am joking? Do some research and see how NATO is already suggesting a rapid deployment force to protect oil fields - in someone else's country.

I'm telling you now - we are in deep doo doo unless something changes....
