Teen pregnancy s a serious issue and not one I would usually see fit to comment on here in a funny manner but this headline truly caught my eye. Yes, 17 teenage girls all became pregnant at a High School in the Boston area causing a statistical teen pregnancy spike off the scale. School officials became concerned when girls kept on requesting pregnancy tests at the school and were plainly disappointed when the results were negative but delighted when the results were positive.

It seems that the girls had made a pact to get pregnant and raise their children together. Apparently, so desperate to get pregnant the girls were having sex with anything that moved including homeless men in the area - one of whom is now a proud Dad.

I often read that US schools (schools everywhere it seems) are failing the kids that attend them but surely this is the proof? With all the dollars poured into sex education and teen pregnancy campaigns each year how can it be that a bunch of girls would want to start their adult lives in this way? I mean, what were educators and parents doing there?

I fully realize this is a bizarre story but wow........
